Broken Heart/Missing someone/Love poems

you're back in my arms
i've missed you so
hold on tighter
don't let the moment go

i've missed your lips
pressed tightly against mine
i feel like the clouds have moved
and i can feel the sunshine

i dreamed of a fantasy vacation
where we were all alone
but reality set in
and you turned to stone.

The days are long
but the weeks fly by
the clock ticks
the second hand waves goodbye
the days are hot
but at night i sleep peacefully
because i know someday soon
you will be with me.

How do I mend a broken heart?
My entire world has fallen apart.
How do I find hope in a brand new day,
when the one I love has gone away?

My Emotions
© Olivia

My emotions are too much to bare
I'm blinded and cant image the ones who care
It starts with a cut and drags to the side
I debate whether to tell anyone I have too much pride
I have soo may friends but feel soo alone
How ever I find comfort when I'm on my phone
putting on a front so no one can see the sad and unhappy lonely me
Flash backs of my past haunt me at night
It's like its happing again and I don't like the sight
having a battle in my mind and I'm loosing the war
My tears stream down my face as I lay on the floor
I'm a fun person I brighten the day
But when it comes to my satisfaction it doesn't work my way
Guys walk in and out my life
I solve my problems and get pleasure with a knife
I shed blood then wipe it away
The crazy part is the problem will stay

YOU SAY NOTHING

Author: Cynthia
I see it in your eyes
I see it in your face
I ask myself is it really there?
I ask you and you say nothing at all
I wonder have you ever felt this way before?
I hear your heart beat and you say nothing at all
I see a twinkle in your eyes
I guess you feel it too, don't you?
I feel your hand in mine
I see cupid's arrow of love just hit you
I ask you "can you feel it?"
I hear those words " I Love You"

YOUR EYES

Author: adieus50@hotmail.com

I love your eyes, those twinkling eyes,
They speak of a thousand things.

It glows and I drown in its intensity,
I would love to stay there forever.

It evokes myriad memories,
And leaves an imprint on me.

I consider myself lucky enough,
To have experienced its warmth.

When cupid's arrow strikes,
The world seems apparelled in celestial light,
Like the glory and freshness of your eyes.

Just like the morning dew,
Exotic and beautiful.

Every time I look into your eyes,
I'm lost in innumerable memories,
Thus forgetting the world behind me.

I wouldn't expect anything much,
Than just being the Apple of your eye!

Your Love Is All I Need

Your Love Is All I Need

 Author: Alisha Bates

You make me happy
you make me sad
you make me angry
you make me mad
you mde me feel again
you make me breathe
you started my whole world again
like it was your own book to read.

You stole my heart
you have my soul
you stood in front of me
like it was your turn to bowl.
My life had started when you came in
you knew how to unlock me
like you knew my pin
and now your love is all I need
to keep me alive happy and free.

Love’s Blindness

Now do I know that Love is blind, for I
Can see no beauty on this beauteous earth,
No life, no light, no hopefulness, no mirth,
Pleasure nor purpose, when thou art not nigh.
Thy absence exiles sunshine from the sky,
Seres Spring’s maturity, checks Summer’s birth,
Leaves linnet’s pipe as sad as plover’s cry,
And makes me in abundance find but dearth.
But when thy feet flutter the dark, and thou
With orient eyes dawnest on my distress,
Suddenly sings a bird on every bough,
The heavens expand, the earth grows less and less,
The ground is buoyant as the ether now,
And all looks lovely in thy loveliness.
